1. Using the sites

You may use the sites for personal, lawful purposes. Do not try to damage, disrupt, scrape, abuse, or interfere with the sites or the people using them.

2. Tools and local files

Our browser tools may let you load your own files or data. You are responsible for what you load and for making sure you have the right to use it. Unless a tool clearly says otherwise, your files are processed locally in your browser and are not uploaded by us.

3. Donations

Donations are optional and are not purchases of products or services. Payments are handled by third-party processors such as PayPal or Ko-fi. We do not store your payment card details.

4. Ownership and licenses

Deception Check owns the site design, branding, music, artwork, and other original content unless a page or file says otherwise. Tool code may be released under separate licenses where noted.

5. No warranty

The sites and tools are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Deception Check is not liable for losses or damages that result from using the sites, the tools, or any files you choose to load into them.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date on this page reflects the current version.
