Quick reference
Use these short instructions to prepare treasure, resolve dramatic rolls, organize combat, and stock an NPC shop without interrupting the session.
Open Loot Generator when you need treasure for a chest, defeated enemy, hidden room, or merchant inventory. Choose the item categories that fit the scene, set the quantity, and adjust rarity or value controls before rolling. The generator combines equipment, materials, prefixes, suffixes, and flavor details into results that are ready to read at the table. You can reroll individual entries instead of discarding the full list, which is useful when one result does not suit the location or party level.
This free 5e loot roller works entirely in the browser and does not require an account. Use templates for a quick result or tune the controls for a specific adventure. Generated tables can support improvised treasure hoards, traveling traders, dungeon rewards, and downtime shopping. Review prices and descriptions before presenting them to players, then copy, print, or export the table using the options available in the tool. The generator is system-friendly rather than a replacement for a Dungeon Master’s judgment, so you can freely edit names, costs, and effects to match your campaign.
Generate a loot tableEZ Initiative Tracker is an online TTRPG combat tracker for parties that need a clear turn order without a virtual tabletop. Add combatants manually or import a prepared CSV or JSON roster. Enter initiative, armor class, hit points, and any notes you want visible during the encounter. Once everyone is listed, sort the order and advance through turns while updating health and conditions as the fight changes.
For recurring groups, keep a clean party file and import it at the start of each session. You can add monsters and NPCs after the party loads, so there is no need to rebuild the same player roster for every encounter. JSON files preserve structured data, while CSV files are convenient for editing in spreadsheet software. Check imported values before combat begins, especially numeric fields and names with punctuation. The tracker stores working data in your browser rather than requiring a login, which makes it useful for in-person games, streamed sessions, and quick encounters on a laptop or tablet.
Open the initiative trackerCrit Generator provides quick critical hit fumble tables for attacks, saving throws, ability checks, and other dramatic rolls. Select the category that matches the action, then roll for a result you can apply or adapt. The table is intended to give the moment a memorable consequence while leaving final rules decisions with the Game Master. If a result conflicts with the scene, character abilities, or the tone of your campaign, reroll it or treat it as inspiration.
You can also load custom JSON tables to replace or extend the default outcomes. Keep each entry concise, use consistent categories, and test a new file before game night. Custom tables are useful for low-magic campaigns, comedic one-shots, gritty injury rules, or house systems that distinguish melee, ranged, spell, and skill outcomes. The tool runs locally in your browser with no account, so your custom table remains available to your session without being posted to a public profile. Decide before play whether critical effects supplement or replace your normal game rules, then apply that choice consistently to heroes and opponents.
Roll on a critical tableShop Keep helps a Dungeon Master turn equipment data into a usable NPC storefront. Import a compatible CSV inventory, choose the stock that belongs in the settlement, and adjust prices or quantities to reflect local supply. The result gives players a focused list to browse instead of forcing the table to search a full rulebook whenever they enter a market. It works well for blacksmiths, general stores, traveling merchants, alchemists, and other shops with repeatable inventory.
Prepare one source file per shop type or region, then make a copy before applying campaign-specific edits. Clear column labels and consistent numeric values make imports easier to review. After loading a file, confirm that names, prices, and descriptions appear in the expected fields. You can edit inventory during play when the party sells an item, buys the last copy, or negotiates a different price. Shop Keep is the more advanced tool in the collection, so first-time users should begin with a small CSV and expand it after the format is working. No account is required, and the workflow stays focused on the table rather than store management overhead.

Answers about access, imports, game systems, and saving your work.
No. Deception Check tools open directly in a modern browser and do not require an account, subscription, or software installation. This makes them easy to use at a shared table or on a device reserved for running games. Some preferences or working data may be stored by your browser, so clearing site data can remove locally saved information.
Yes. EZ Initiative Tracker accepts supported JSON and CSV roster files, and Crit Generator can load compatible custom JSON tables. File structures differ between tools, so use the sample or documented format for the tool you are opening. Always keep a backup of your original file and review imported entries before the session starts.
The loot terminology and default critical tables are designed with D&D 5e and similar fantasy games in mind. The initiative tracker and shop workflow are flexible enough for many tabletop RPGs. Custom imports let you adapt names, stats, inventory, and outcomes for another system, but Deception Check does not automatically enforce every game’s rules.
The tools are browser-based and should be loaded while you have an internet connection. Some features continue to work after a page has loaded, but full offline support is not guaranteed. Export or copy important rosters, tables, and inventory before closing the browser, particularly when using a private session or a device that regularly clears local storage.
